We offer three types of reference checks: verification of employment, reference checks, and verification of education.
VERIFICATION OF EMPLOYMENT
Verification of Employment checks verify that your candidate did in fact work for the employer they listed on their resume or application form, their start and end dates of employment, and their position or job title. COST: $90.00 (plus tax) |
REFERENCE CHECKS
In addition to information obtained through a verification of employment check, reference checks attempt to glean information about the candidate's past job performance, work ethic and interpersonal skills from previous employers and personal (character) references. COST: $150.00 (plus tax) |
VERIFICATION OF
EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS Verification of Education checks verify that the candidate did in fact attend the institution listed on their resume or application form, their dates of attendance, the credentials issued and the dates they were awarded. COST: $90.00 (plus tax) |

REASON #1: Ensure Compliance with BC Employment Laws. We are trained to ensure that questions asked comply with employment legislation, including the BC Human Rights Code and the BC Personal Information Protection Act. Any information we inadvertently obtain that may violate these laws will not be relayed to you, which reduces the potential for any legal issues.
REASON #2: Convenience. Contacting a candidate's previous employer can be time-consuming and uncomfortable. In addition, finding mutually convenient times to speak with past employers can be challenging. We can ensure our availability when a reference calls back. |
