Although it may seem unnecessary and time consuming, a written job description is the foundation for many important HR processes. A job description outlines hiring criteria, sets clear expectations for performance evaluations, and helps determine appropriate compensation. While the process is relatively straightforward, employers must ensure that job descriptions accurately represent the position, and that they use language that does not violate the BC Human Rights Code. COST: The average cost for us to write a job description is $300 which includes a 1-hour consultation meeting via phone call or Zoom; Document review and proofreading is $150 per hour.
If you have never interviewed a potential employee before, the process can be daunting. We can help new employers gain confidence and feel prepared. At our interview coaching session, we will discuss interviewing best practices and how to write appropriate interview questions with you. At the conclusion of the meeting you will be provided with the necessary worksheets and guidelines to develop your own interview questions and conduct effective interviews.
Our interview coaching sessions are one-hour long and are conducted via Zoom. After the initial coaching session, some clients choose to book a follow-up session to receive feedback on the interview questions they have developed and to practice conducting interviews.
